Shadow Song
Shadow Song by Terry Kay is a very good read. Summer of 1955 revisited with very dear old friends and old memories. Old loves and new life. Hopefully, everyone has a summer of '55. Some I've read and enjoyed lately: The Rector's Wife, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, A Redbird Christmas, Tender is the Night, Luncheon of the Boating Party, The Art of Racing in the Rain.
Tangier ferry
The passenger ferry from Onancock, VA to Tangier Island runs from May 1, through October. A nice day trip. Cruise Onancock Creek and the Chesapeake Bay and have lunch on the island. The boat leaves Onancock promptly at 10 A. M. and returns at 3 P. M.

This annual "all you can eat" seafood feast is always a popular occasion with visitors and locals alike. Food, beverages, and music all in a lovely setting along Chincoteague's waterfront.
