Shadow Song

Just finished Shadow Song by Terry Kay. It is a very good read. Summer of 1955 revisited with very dear old friends and old memories. Old loves and new life. Hopefully, everyone has a summer of '55. Posted this several months age and now don't remember it.
Some I've read and enjoyed lately: The Rector's Wife, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, A Redbird Christmas, Tender is the Night, Luncheon of the Boating Party.

Tangier ferry

The passenger ferry from Onancock, VA to Tangier Island runs from May 1, through October. A nice day trip. Cruise Onancock Creek and the Chesapeake Bay and have lunch on the island. The boat leaves Onancock promptly at 10 A. M. and returns at 3 P. M.
